Welcome to NK & K Therapy Practice. My name is Deborah Ndekwu, and I am the sole practitioner behind this service. As an Integrative Psychotherapist, I offer a personalised, compassionate, and culturally sensitive approach to therapy, grounded in evidence-based practice and genuine human connection.
Integrative Psychotherapy recognises that no single therapeutic method works for everyone. That’s why I draw from a range of psychological approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Attachment Theory, and Person-Centred Theory, to tailor each session to your unique needs and goals. Whether you’re seeking to better understand your thoughts and emotions or working through specific challenges, our work together will focus on fostering emotional well-being and personal growth.
My professional background includes working within the NHS at Dorothy Pattison Hospital and with organisations such as First Steps ED, Self Space and Centrepoint where I’ve supported individuals facing a wide range of mental health concerns. I’ve also had the opportunity to collaborate with psychologists, psychotherapists, and psychiatrists to ensure my clients receive holistic and well-informed care.
Cultural sensitivity is a core value in my practice. I have experience working with clients from diverse racial, religious, and cultural backgrounds, and I strive to provide a safe, inclusive, and respectful space for every individual I support.
I hold an MSc in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy, am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and maintain an Enhanced DBS certificate along with Professional Indemnity insurance.
If you’re considering therapy and want a warm, non-judgemental space to explore what matters most to you, I’d be honoured to support you on your journey.
“Deborah has been fantastic, I’ve had counselling before but she’s really helped me and changed my perspective”.
